He is currently responsible for Republic Indemnity’s overall operation. Dave Harkins is the Senior Underwriting Officer of Republic Indemnity since 1995. He joined Republic in June 1992 as Vice President, Home Office Underwriting, and was named Senior Vice President and appointed to the Board of Directors in January of 1995. His areas of responsibility include Underwriting, Premium Audit, Loss Control and Reinsurance purchasing. Dave Mitchell, on the other hand, has served as Senior Vice President, Home Office Claims, for Republic Indemnity since July 1994 and became a member of the Board of Directors in 1995. He coordinates governmental affairs for Republic Indemnity.
